Since the invention of injection anchors for soil stabilization in 1958, Bauer Spezialtiefbau (Special Foundations) has been known as one of the most innovative companies in foundation engineering. Over the years the company has been a pioneer in the development of many other foundation techniques.

Bauer Special Foundations now carries out all types of foundation work using machines, which have for the most part been designed and built by Bauer's mown in-house equipment division. These machines are constantly updated to meet the latest demands. Bauer's name is synonymous with finding solutions for all types of subsoil problems. In addition to carrying out construction work, Bauer offers a full range of services in the field of special foundations including consultation, design and planning in the company's own engineering department.
